2020-2021 YOU REGIES

Hello lovely people!

My name is Marilyn Pham and I am thrilled to say I will be serving as your 2020-2021 Communications Regional Officer. I attend Unity of Richmond and have been practicing spirituality for as long as I can remember. My job is to keep everybody involved and informed on what’s going on in the eastern region, as well as running the social media pages.

I enjoy spending time with friends and working on my music in my free time. Music is a huge part of my life and Unity has helped me grow confidence in myself as well as my work. I attend an arts school where I focus on acting and taking part in a creative outlet. I’m also passionate about making people happy and creating a safe space for everyone.

I am more than grateful to take part in such an amazing community and help pave way for my fellow YOUers spiritual journey in life.

Hello everyone!

I’m Isabel Myers and I am beyond thrilled to be your 2020-2021 Spirituality Regional Officer. I have been attending Unity Renaissance my whole life. Unity has given me some of the best friends that I could ask for. It has shaped me into the kind and confident person that I am.

Some things that I enjoy outside of church are dance, biking, and animals. I have been dancing my whole life and love to be able to express myself with it. I also take delight in biking. I have done fundraising for type 1 diabetes on my bike. I also adore my two dogs and cat. They have helped me realize my passion in helping animals. It’s important to me to volunteer at my local dog kennel where I have learned an incredible amount about training, handling, and caring for dogs. I also love to be a part of nature, whether it be going on walks, swimming or canoeing. No matter what, I love to be outdoors.

I strived to be a Regie because I want to deepen my leadership skills and I see the impact that other Regies have on rallies and YOUers. I hope that I can make rallies as impactful to others as it is for me. I can’t wait to see what this Regie team will do!

Hello you beautiful people!!

I am Sophia Haber Brock and I am so excited to serve as your 2020-2021 Eastern Region In-Reach Regie! I live in New Jersey and have attended Unity by the Shore for about ten years. For my entire life, spirituality has been a huge part of me because of my dad. I am so thankful we found Unity and I had the incredible opportunity to experience rally and be apart of the YOU community. The loving energy and positive environment is truly unique. In my time as Regie, I hope to make an impact on my fellow YOUers and make rallies an experience that all YOUers can enjoy and flourish in. In the process, I also hope to learn from others and grow as a person.

Outside of Unity, I am very passionate about many things. Mainly, I enjoy film making, theater, and singing. I have been performing since I was 5 years old. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and watching Netflix. I am very enthusiastic and have a natural drive to put my all into everything I do. I really resonate with the Unity principle that you can create your own reality. I believe that you can do anything you put your mind to and anything you put out into the world, will come back to you.

I am so grateful for this opportunity and I can’t wait to work with my amazing team to make the 2020-2021 year, the best it can be!

What’s poppin my beautiful people!

My name is Jake Henderson and I am humbled and excited to be your 2020/2021 outreach Regi. I have been a member of the Unity of Charlottesville since I was a wee bit. My whole life Unity has been a massive part and resource in my life, rally has been one of the best experiences i have ever been a part of and i hope to contribute my open heart and mind to others across the region and the freshman coming through the doors for the first time. 

Outside of Unity I play Lacrosse and I am a competitive and sideline cheerleader. My other activities consist of making something out of nothing and writing music. I also do a lot of charity work for my school and for The Unity of Charlottesville. Of Course i could not forget my beautiful dog Rosie. She is my little angel and I play basketball with her. 

I am beyond excited for what this year has to bring and thrilled to have such an amazing Team to be a part of!
