Commotion in the Ocean! How to ‘Get Over It!’ and Match Your Words with Your Beliefs!

Facilitated by Revs. Cher and Bil Holton, Rev. Paul Hasselbeck and Daniel Nahmod

This mind-expanding session debunks some of the most popular phrases we use in New Thought, explores why they aren’t in alignment with our teachings, and reframes them to harmonize with Truth. Participants will receive a worksheet they can use as a spiritual practice! As a result of this session, participants will be able to recognize the cognitive dissonance caused by a mismatch between what they say and what they believe; identify current phrases that may not reflect the Truth of our evolving Consciousness; create new phrases to replace old outdated language; and use the ‘Spiritual Truth Test’ as a spiritual practice to transform language and ensure their words match their beliefs. (1.5 CEU Hours)

Diving Into Unexplored Waters: Moving Beyond the Five Basic Principles

Presented by Rev. Paul Hasselbeck

Charles and Myrtle Fillmore referred to Principles and Laws as well as using the Truth we know. However, up until now, there was no list of them created, making it difficult to use the Truth! Paul Hasselbeck takes us on a deep dive into Principles, Premises, Laws and Rules. Walk away with a resource for specifically knowing them so we can use them consciously. As a result of this session, participants will know the difference between principles, premises, laws and rules and why it matters; discover how they support each other and how to use them in life to make a difference; and apply the underlying power of principles and laws to this ever changing landscape we are dealing with in our spiritual journey. (2 CEU Hours)

BE LIKE WATER: A workshop of faith, serenity and surrender

Evening Session with Daniel Nahmod

What do I do if I’m not chasing anything? What do I do if I’ve got everything that I need? It’s a question I truly don’t know how to answer.

In 2006, singer-songwriter Daniel Nahmod (“One Power,” “My Soul Is Welcome Here,” “When I Pray”) experienced a new level of peace, serenity, artistry and insight during a 3 month sabbatical amongst the red rocks of Utah. The resulting award-winning album, WATER, is a beautiful and thought-provoking collection of songs exploring the widespread illusion of control, the agelessness of the earth and stars, the exhausting pursuit of credit and blame, and the twin burdens of expectation and legacy which we so often place on our own shoulders… for a lifetime.

Whatever grows will grow, whatever dies will die. Whatever works will work. Whatever flies will fly. Whatever fails will fail. What’s meant to soar will soar. I am planting seeds, nothing more.

In this unique workshop experience, Daniel offers a glimpse into an entirely different, utterly calming and comforting way to look at your life.  Through stories and songs, readings and questions, quiet time and discussion, you’ll be invited to take a deep breath, step back from your daily pressures and to-do lists, and get some new – and profoundly clarifying – perspective on what’s most important, what you are truly called to do, and what you just might be able to let go of… perhaps for the very first time.

In the wake of quarantines and protests, lockdowns and curfews, upheaval both personal and society-wide, at the edge of “normal” as we know it, there’s perhaps never been a more stressful time for each of us, individually or collectively.  Perhaps there’s also never been a more important moment to just be, to take stock, to rest, and to allow new insights, new interests, and new definitions of self to come to light.

To flow like water, without resistance, wherever we’re meant to flow.  To go where the ocean says to go. If this is my last song, if this is my final day, if tomorrow I’ll be gone what do I want to say?
