I have been a Church Music Director at Unity of Nashville and currently at Unity Renaissance for a total of 15 years experience co-creating successful and dynamic services.
I've worked at both Unity Village and Unity Worldwide Ministries in consulting and creative positions producing Unity's first library of music designed and written for Unity and New Thought. Reverend Valorie Kay is an ordained minister of the Unity Urban Ministerial School. She serves as an officiant of sacred services such as weddings, baby blessings, and memorial services . She is also a public speaker, singer/songwriter, and workshop facilitator. Over the years, she has facilitated experiential learning such as ropes courses, fire-walks , drum circles and circle dances. She writes personalized songs for customers called “Soul Songs" by commission. She also has several published CD’s of her music. She does spiritual guidance sessions and leads song and drum circles and other workshops using her music, Native American flute, and other transformational tools. She is currently Adult Education Coordinator and Summer Camp Coordinator at Unity of Bon Air in Richmond, VA. She has been a public speaker for 10 years.
